Over the past 10 years, Dan Perry (b. Omaha, NE) has exhibited his artwork across the United States in over 30 juried and group exhibitions as well as 7 solo exhibitions. Notable venues include, The Cole Art Center in Nacogdoches, Texas; Spartanburg Art Museum in Spartanburg, South Carolina; The Blanden Art Museum; the Waterloo Center for the Arts; Sioux City Art Center; the Des Moines Art Center; and Moberg Gallery in Des Moines, Iowa.
Dan has exhibited large-scale sculptures in outdoor exhibitions in Champaign, Illinois; Cape Girardeau, Missouri; Decatur, Georgia; as well as Des Moines and Dubuque, Iowa. Recently, he has completed public commissions for the 2014 National Special Olympics Games, University of Northern Iowa and the City of Coralville, Iowa. This past year, he completed public commissions for the cities of Urbandale and Marion, Iowa respectively.
Currently, Dan is the Art Studio Technician and an Instructor at the University of Northern Iowa in Cedar Falls. He also serves as Co-Director of the Public Art Incubator while serving on several civic pubic art committees.
