This is a program run by Professor / Sculptor / Public Artist Tom Stancliffe and myself.

The Public Art Incubator is a resource that provides a cooperative fabrication assistance environment within the University of Northern Iowa Art Department for regional and national artists in the production of their commissioned public art projects. A participating artist works directly with faculty, technical staff and students to fabricate the art work utilizing our well equipped facilities and expertise. Additionally, the incubator provides front-end support for artists applying for public art projects including proposal development and preparation of preliminary budgets in relation to the resources available at the University as well as local industries.
